Sitting in my room
Staring at the ceiling
The lights turned off.
Wishing I could sleep instead of creating worlds
from the patterns of shadows dancing above me.
Our eyes met
In a Flash of Red
From across the room
You flashed me a smile full of white and wonder
And I was rooted to the ground, Fireworks behind my eyes
Next, I find us on a hill
The stars flickering
